My little boy is turning 7!

Every year I set up a day to do a photoshoot with my kids for their birthday. My oldest is turning 7 in just a week and I am starting to wonder where my baby went. The other day I looked outside and saw that it was sunny and dry which for Seattle in the winter is unheard of, so I packed up my camera and my kids and headed out to try and get some pictures of Landen. I also have a 3 year old daughter who hates her picture taken and for this reason I have not gotten any pictures of her in almost 2 years (which for a photographer is really frustrating) On this day I think she was getting jealous of the attention I was giving Landen because all the sudden she was begging to get her picture taken too, so of course I took full advantage of this opportunity! It was the most perfect day for me ever, I got some great pictures of my kids and we had so much fun taking them, we went out to lunch at a sit down restaurant and both were very well behaved and ate all their food and then later I got my hair done. What a great way to start out the New Year!

All Smiles

I first photographed this handsome little boy when he was in his mommy's tummy and then again when he was born, I can't believe how fast time flies. Our session went great this little man was full of smiles (I think he wanted to show off his 2 new teethers) The day was chilly but dry and sunny so for a Seattle winter it was great! I can't wait to photograph this guy in another 6 months smashing his first Birthday cake!

Another Blue Eyed Babe!

This little girl is turning one in just a few weeks but her parents wanted to get her in before the holidays. She was such an easy baby to photograph, she held still, didn't cry and loved me! I look forward to our next session with the whole family.

Her Hypnotic Eyes

Although these little girls eyes were the brightest and most beautiful blue eyes ( besides my daughters of course) I couldn't help but fall in love with the way they popped in Black and White. As a Cali girl just visiting for Christmas this little sweetie did not like being confined to the warm clothes that she had to wear while here in Seattle so we took some off and managed to get some beautiful shots!

Dad's got his hands full!

I had a fantastic time photographing this beautiful family of 4 yesterday. All though it was freezing the girls were very coopertive and when I told them how great they were the oldest daughter told me "Well I like you taking our picture better then the other guy" What a great feeling!
