Yakima Fun in the Sun

I have a sister that lives in Yakima and we love to go on mini vacations to visit her. My little ones got some new outfits as a gift from her while we were there and instead of me begging them to let me take their pictures they were begging me to take them, it was a dream come true!

Boy oh Boy oh Boy

Can you say busy mommy!  While visiting my sister in Yakima I was able to have the opportunity to photograph the Skinner family and it was truly a fun experience! The oldest, Kian was a bit silly but very patient, The youngest Conlan was fussy at 1st, but lucky for me I had my son Landen assisting me in making the kids laugh. Now Jameson is 4 and it is so funny how much he is like my 4 year old daughter, they are both very defiant, with very funny personalities. He was more then willing to let me take his picture as long as he got to chose a few shots of his own! Haha I am really happy with the shots I got with this family especially with 3 young boys! Thanks Skinners!

Sugar and Spice

I would like to introduce little Kaelee. When I photographed this sweet little girl she was only 6 days old, or maybe I should say 6 days new :)  She was so sweet! My baby turned 4 years old a month ago and I have been having the baby itch so getting to cuddle with this little angel for a few hours was anything but hard work! Congratulations to Kendra, your going to be a wonderful mommy!

A Style of Her Own!

Ladies and Gentleman meet Lexi! This little girl first caught my eye with her fabulous style month's ago! I was instantly inspired and I could not wait to photograph her. Although Lexi's mom has filled her closet with name brand preppy clothes from Ambercrombie and Gap, this little girl can still manage to put together an outfit that is her own and anything but preppy!  Lexi and I had so much fun on our shoot, she is very comfortable in front of the camera and is always willing to give her input on what we should do next :)   After the shoot her Grandpa told her she should be a fashion model, she quickly said "No Way! When I grow up I want to be a photographer just like Sharesa, her job seems fun!" Well Lexi your right, my job is fun especially when I get to photograph such a great kid!

One Hot Mama!

My oh my am I in love with this awesome mom-to-be. I had the extreme pleasure of finally photographing Kendra today! Weather had made it hard for us to get a shoot in but little Kaylee waited patiently in her mommy's belly for us to get some pictures, Thank you Kaylee you may come out and join the world now! Not only was Kendra the perfect model but when my lack of sleep got the best of me today and I forgot my memory card (for my camera & obviously my brain) she went and got me a latte while I ran home to get the memory card! What an Angel! I can not wait to see her in the next few days to photograph her sweet little girl!

Two Hours Of Sunshine

Lucky for me after days of gloomy & rainy weather the sun came out today just long enough to get Conner's Senior pictures done. On the way home from the shoot the wind started blowing like crazy and then came the rain!

Grandma's Girl

I haven't had a chance to take many new clients lately, which is to bad considering the weather has been beautiful out so I took advantage of a nice day and took out my own mom and my daughter Izzy for a Grandma's girl shoot. Izzy and my mom have this really special bond that amazes me everyday, I am so very fortunate to have my mom in our lives especially right now. We had fun spending the day together taking some shots here and there (when Izzy would cooperate) and we got to stop by my favorite place Hello Cupcake it is a cute little cupcake shop in Tacoma where they have the best little cupcakes Mmmmmm!  It's been a cold winter with very little playing but spring is coming up fast and I have lots of shoots this month to play with so check back often to see my latest work! 

Valentines Day Bookmarks

I made these bookmarks for my son and a client of mine's girls to hand out instead of the normal store bought Valentines. When they didn't arrive yesterday I ran out last minute and bought the boring store bought ones and had to call my client to have her do the same as the kids party was today....... However at 1:00 the dear UPS man arrived delivering my bookmarks so I packed up my baby and ran to their school to drop off their real Valentines! I am so glad they made it and are not going to waste.

Crazy Eight

This family has supported me in my business since WAY before I even had my own official business.  They have grown right along with me. Today's session was mainly to focus on Kaity turning 8, But I had some family ideas I wanted to try out and they were more then happy to step in. I always love to photograph this family because they all love having their picture taken together and are very willing to let me experiment with my crazy new ideas. I would also like to wish the Combs family good luck this month in the exciting purchase of their 1st home.
